Living small until we can live BIG!

We are grateful to be able to say that over the past year life has remained relatively the same for our little family of four. As extroverted-introverts we are used to living a small life, amused by little moments and each other's sarcastic sense of humour . . . luckily!

Like everyone else we adapted to the strange new circumstances the whole world was under, appreciating what we have with far more respect.

We reminisced over old home movies and had indoor pizza picnics whilst watching films projected against the kitchen wall.

Binge-watched documentaries and Netflix originals, had Marvel movie marathons and a daily dose of friends that we rationed to one a day . . . two if we were feeling generous.

Intense YouTube workouts helped hold back the pounds, bringing the burn into our living room, making sure we could have our cake and eat it . . . and boy did we eat it . . . cookies, brownies, pastries...we indulged in them all, with no guilt whatsoever . . . honest!

Let's learn a language we said . . . we are still saying it! Thankfully boredom was never an issue as there was always something to do, painting, writing, gaming, guitar, using our imaginations and creativity to provide the distraction on the days of tears and unrest.

For now, we are happy with our long-term stay-cation but we do hope to travel again someday . . . France, Spain, Canada . . . just dreams maybe; until then we will continue to live small until we can live big.
